PLA Southern Theater Command Naval Task Group 107 Conducts Military Exercises in Waters East of the Philippine Luzon Island

  近期，中国人民解放军南部战区组织107编队位菲律宾吕宋岛以东海域开展演训活动，重点进行实弹射击、海空协同、快速机动、航行补给等演练，检验一体化联合作战能力。这是针对当前地区局势采取的必要行动，符合相关国际法和国际实践。战区部队将根据安全形势需要，常态组织有关军事行动，维护国家主权安全和地区和平稳定。

  Recently, the PLA Southern Theater Command (STC) dispatched Naval Task Group 107 to conduct military exercises in the waters east of the Philippine Luzon Island. These exercises focused on live-fire drills, air-sea coordination, rapid maneuvering, and underway replenishment to test integrated joint operations capabilities. This is a necessary operation carried out in response to the current regional situation, and is fully in compliance with international law and practice. Forces of the STC will regularly conduct corresponding military operations based on the need of the security situation to safeguard national sovereignty and security as well as regional peace and stability.
